Mechanical Engineering students Win 1 st and 2 nd place in “Incredia 2022” held at NMAM Institute of Technology Mohammed Zain, Nestor Noronha and Abhinav Thodthillaya, students from 6 th Semester and Salvin Pinto, G Vijeth, Vineeth Pais from 8 th Semester Mechanical Engineering have participated in “Engine Overhaul" an event held at Incredia 2022 a National Level Techno- Cultural Fest of NMAM Institute of Technology, Nitte and won 1st and 2nd Places respectively for which they received Certificates and a Cash Prize. The event consisted of three rounds. Round 1: Involves a written test that will test your knowledge of automobiles. Round 2: Identifying the parts of the engine and explaining their function. Final Round: Involves fixing an already overhauled engine. Teams will have to assemble the engine with the smallest number of errors in the least amount of time.

Webinar: Dept. of Mechanical Engineering organized a Guidance Program on 'Career Opportunities after Bachelor of Engineering' On 13th June, 2022, Dept. of Mechanical Engineering in association with IEI, ISTE, FLAMES, ISME, IIC organized a Webinar on 'A guidance program on career opportunities after Bachelor of Engineering'. The resource person was Mr. S Manimohan Trinath, Sr. Faculty member at ACE academy. Objective of the webinar was to give students of 2nd and 3rd year Mechanical Engineering the insights on what next after Graduation. During the webinar, Mr. S Manimohan Trinath, emphasized on the different opportunities for the Mechanical Engineering students in IT sectors especially in Artificial Intelligence; different range of salary packages for Mechanical Engineering Fresh graduates and importance of GATE exam to get into PSU's. Mechanical Engineering students Win 1st place in 'Sambhram-2022', a National-Level Techno-cultural fest Aheesh Rao and Dion Dsouza, students of 4th Semester and Gurucharan Nayak of 2nd Semester, Mechanical Engineering, won 1st place in 'Thunderbolt' (engine dismantling) an event held at 'Sambhram-22', a National-level Techno-cultural fest of Shreedevi Institute of Technology, Kenjar. They received Certificates and Cash Prize for this. The event consisted of two rounds - Round 1: A quiz on automobiles and engines; Round 2: Dismantling and again reassembling the engine. The teams had to assemble the engine in the least amount of time.
