  Inauguration of “ROAD SAFETY CLUB @ SAHYADRI” Sahyadri College of Engineering & Management in association with All India Federation of Motor Vehicles Department Technical Executive Officers Association (AIFMVD) has come up with new initiative to create awareness about the road safety by forming “ROAD SAFETY CLUB @ SAHYADRI” and inaugurated on 12.02.2022, Saturday at 10.00am. The main objective of the club is to promote road safety with the aim of minimization of road-travel related fatalities and injuries. Also encourage the students to discard non-standard helmets and procure ISI Standard – safe helmets and be safe and secure. Dr.Rajesha S, Principal gave a Inaugural remarks as the road safety is the major concern in day to day life as each one of has to travel for the one or other purpose. Dept. of Mechanical Engg. organized a talk on “Role of Mathematical Modelling in Research” for the Faculty of  Mechanical & Civil Engineering Department of Mechanical Engineering organized a talk on “Role of Mathematical Modelling in Research” for the Faculty of Mechanical & Civil Engineering, by Dr. Lingaraju GM, Professor, Dept. of ISE, SCEM on 28/01/2022 in Lecture Hall, Mechanical Block. The session was about the modelling tool used in research. The resource person also discussed the challenges faced by faculty members during research and guided them towards the selection of the right direction in upgrading their skills and becoming a successful researcher.
