Dept. of Mechanical Engineering Students visited Lamina Foundry Limited, NITTE. The students of 3 rd Semester Mechanical Engineering program visited Lamina Foundries Limited. The visit enabled the students to gain fundamentals of casting techniques like melting, pattern making, core making, casting, machining, quality, painting and packaging and also helped them to understand industrial practices. About the company: Lamina Foundry Limited is a public limited company belonging to Lamina group of Companies, commissioned in the year 1983.
